If ever there was a wedding that felt like a joyful summer’s dream, Natalie and Max’s big day at Manor By The Lake in Cheltenham was it. With Irish roots, ginger curls, garden games, and live folk music, their celebration was vibrant, heartfelt, and full of charm - and we at R&S Oxfordshire Photographers were lucky enough to capture every moment.

A Picture-Perfect Summer Ceremony

Set against the lush, landscaped gardens of Manor By The Lake, their outdoor ceremony couldn’t have had better weather. The sun was shining just enough to bring a golden glow, but with a light breeze that kept things cool and comfortable.

As Natalie walked down the aisle, her stunning ginger hair glowing against her white dress, every guest paused in awe. Max, proud and beaming, waited beneath the arch surrounded by family and friends. The setting, the light, and the emotion made for a photographer’s dream.

Garden Games, Laughter, and Irish Charm

After the ceremony, the garden came alive. From bouncy castles and croquet to giant Connect 4 and Jenga, every corner had something fun going on. It created such a playful, relaxed energy - perfect for candid photography.

While guests enjoyed canapés and Irish folk music, we captured smiles, hugs, and spontaneous laughter. These are the real, fleeting moments we love most. The joy wasn’t staged - it was everywhere.

Emotional Speeches

One of our favourite parts of the day? The speeches. From heartfelt to hilarious, they had everyone fully engaged. Natalie and Max’s story unfolded in words and reactions, and we were there to freeze it all in time.

Dancing the Night Away

As night fell, a live band filled the venue with energy. Their first dance flowed seamlessly into a packed dance floor, where guests of all ages joined in. Whether it was a quiet moment between the couple or a wild spin, every second was filled with movement, music, and meaning.

Why We Loved This Wedding

Natalie and Max’s wedding reminded us of why we do what we do. The blend of tradition and modern celebration, the laughter in the gardens, the emotional moments in the speeches, and the freedom to just be - it all came together beautifully.

From a Cheltenham wedding photographer's perspective, this day had it all: story, colour, and connection.
